Nacional Centre for Research and Development published announcement about open call for projects financed under the LIDER Programme, 11th edition

The goal of the program is to broaden the competences of young scientists in independent planning of research works and managing their own research team, during the implementation of research projects whose results may be of practical use and have implementation potential.

The program is addressed at individuals who:

• • are doctoral students or academic teachers and do not hold a PhD degree;

  • hold a PhD degree, conferred within 7 years from the date of its awarding (the period does not include breaks related to maternity leave, paternity leave or parental leave) and are employed in the entity referred to in art. 7 item 1 of the Act on Higher Education and Science. Applicants who hold the postdoctoral degree [doktor habilitowany] at the date of submitting the application may not apply for financial resources;

  • are authors of publications in reputable scientific journals or have patents or implementations;

  • have not yet participated as a Principal Investigator in the LIDER program;

  • receive document confirming their employment at the Jagiellonian University as the Principal Investigator together with the members of the research team;

  • have Polish citizenship or a residence card in Poland or are citizens of the European Union who stay in the Republic of Poland for a period longer than 3 months and their stay is registered.

Deadline of submission:

March 16, 2020.

Submission of proposals:

The application should be submitted with the required attachments only in the electronic version via the IT system to support applications and projects in the LIDER - LSI program (the link to the system will be active from 16 January 2020).
The application should be sent via the IT system by 16:15 on the closing date of the call, i.e. 16 March 2020.

Internal regulations of the Jagiellonian University:

In accordance with the Jagiellonian University Rector’s Directive No. 56 on July 11, 2016 on the rules of procedure for the preparation and implementation at the JU of projects financed from external sources, researchers interested in participating in the call should submit to the CAWP:

• • by 2 March 2020, the printed and signed Project Registration Form and VAT Eligibility Form, constituting Annexes 2b and 3 of the abovementioned Regulations available at www.cawp.uj.edu.pl tab "Projects" --> "For applicants" --> "Principles of project preparation at the Jagiellonian University",

  • by 6 March 2020, the working version of the application (it may be an electronic version sent as a PDF file to the call supervisor's address at CAWP or by allowing the access to the application

  in the system),

  • by 11 March 2020, the final version of the application signed by the author / Principal Investigator and the JU head of the unit (Dean of the Faculty or Head of the unit respectively).

Out of concern for the quality of submitted project applications please consult applications and submit documents to the CAWP in earlier dates than mentioned above.
