The Minister of Science and Higher Education announced the call for proposals under the Grants for Grants program: promotion of quality support for Polish coordinators in European Union research programs.

Purpose of the call:

Support for Polish scientific units and universities in order to increase the efficiency of applying for grants financed from the European Union funds for the implementation of projects under the European Union research programs and the employees involvement in the development of high-quality applications, hereinafter referred to as "project applications".

Submission procedure:

The application should be submitted no later than 60 days from the date of receipt of the final evaluation of the project application made by the EC as part of the final score specified for the given call for proposals, and in the case of an applicant who applied for the status of host institution of an ERC researcher, within 60 days from the date of receipt of information from the ERC about the transition to the second stage of the call for proposals. In the case of a project application when the applicant received the EC assessment or invitation to the second stage of the ERC call in the period from August 1, 2018 to the date of the call for proposals, the deadline of 60 days is counted from the date of call for proposals.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education requires submitting applications only in the electronic system ZSUN / OSF (Integrated Services System for Science / Financing Streams Service), available on the website: osf.opi.org.pl.  In addition,  the "Statement confirming the submission of an application under the project" Grants for Grants: promotion of quality III "signed by persons authorized to represent the Jagiellonian University should be sent to the address of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

JU internal regulations:

A draft of the proposal (in PDF file) should be sent to the CAWP call supervisor in order to verify the correctness of the application, or give the access to the OSF System.

Then, after receiving information from the CAWP call supervisor, you should:

• submit to CAWP 1 copy of the printed application with the signature of the Principal Investigator and the Head of the unit which is applying for funds under the Program (Dean of the Faculty or the Head of the specific unit);
• send to the email address of the CAWP call supervisor  a "Confirmation of submitting the proposal under the program" Grants for grants - promotion of quality III " generated by the OSF  with a qualified electronic signature by the Head of the unit (Dean of the Faculty or a Head of the specific unit). The statement, signed by the Jagiellonian University authorities, will be sent to the Ministry via the electronic mailbox of the Minister of Science and Higher Education only after submitting the application via the OSF system.

Sending the application by the ZSUN/OSF system is an irreversible operation, making it impossible to make subsequent changes.

Therefore, the electronic application should be sent only after obtaining the signatures on the printed version of the proposal. Scans of the above-mentioned document, duly signed by the JU authorities, will be sent back by the CAWP supervisors to your e-mail addresses.
