Description of the call:
The M-ERA.NET Call 2019 is launched on the 19 March 2019. 35 funding agencies from 26 countries participate with a total budget of more than 25 million € national/regional funding. International consortia consisting of at least 3 research teams from at least 2 countries participating in the call may apply for funding.
The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for low carbon energy technologies and related production technologies. M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the contribution of materials R&D to energy-related applications where applicable. Coordinator of the Polish team must have at least a doctoral degree.

The Call 2019 includes the following thematic areas:
- Modeling for materials engineering and processing;
- Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces;
- High performance composites;
- Functional materials;
- New strategies for advanced material-based technologies in health applications;
- Materials for additive manufacturing.
Deadline for submission:
18 June 2019, 12:00 Brussels time
Way of submitting applications:
- international level: preparation of a joint application in English by a Polish research team in cooperation with foreign partners, which should be submitted via the M -ERA.NET Submission System
- national level: preparation of a national application by a Polish research team regarding the Polish part of the project, which should be submitted to NCN via the ZSUN/OSF system.
