Description of the call:
The call is addressed at researchers intending to apply for funding of research projects with the ERC and interested in gaining knowledge and valuable experience under international grant schemes. The objective of the call is to support researchers in successful applications for the European research funding and to increase the number of Polish researchers among the ERC grantees.

Proposals may only be filed electronically via ZSUN/OSF
JU internal regulations:
In accordance with the Jagiellonian University Rector’s Directive No. 56 on July 11, 2016 on the rules of procedure for the preparation and implementation at the JU of projects financed from external sources, researchers interested in participating in the call should submit to the CAWP:
- until 5 September, 2019 draft version of the application (sent in PDF file to the address of the CAWP call supervisors or allow access to ZSUN/OSF system by call supervisor at CAWP);
- until 11 September, 2019 a final version of the application signed by the candidate for the internship and the head of the unit (Dean of the department or according to the specific characteristics of the unit) and:
- a document in English confirming the consent of the winner of the ERC competition and the person representing the scientific centre where the ERC grant is implemented by the person indicated in the application. The document must be drawn up in accordance with the model published in the documentation published on the NCN website,
- a document generated from the ZSUN/OSF system called the Confirmation of the application in a competition presented by the person authorised to represent the applicant (signed by the head of the unit where the candidate is employed),
- a document generated from the ZSUN/OSF system called the Confirmation of the application in the competition awarded by the candidate for the internship (signed by the candidate for the internship),
- Project registration form.
In the interests of the quality of the projects submitted, particularly in terms of compliance with the formal requirements, I encourage you to consult your applications and submit documents to be submitted in earlier timeliness than those mentioned above.
Sending the application by the system is an irreversible operation, making it impossible to make subsequent changes.
Therefore, the application in electronic form should be sent only after signature on the printed version of the receipt of the application in a contest presented by the person authorised to represent the applicant. A scan of this document signed by the JU authorities will be submitted by the call supervisor at CAWP.
