Supporting international cooperation in research and development.
The EUREKA Initiative is a decentralized network of 41 countries, including European countries and the European Union, established to support international cooperation in research and development.
The EUREKA network operates through national EUREKA offices, which serve as contact points providing information on EUREKA activities and procedures. The governments of the Member States have committed to promote and support cooperation between industrial partners and organizations conducting research and disseminating knowledge, which implement joint ventures - EUREKA projects, including through effective procedures to support the implementation of these projects by domestic partners from public funds.
