Subject of the call

Proposals for research tasks carried out by Polish research teams in the framework of Polish-German research projects:

• for the BEETHOVEN Classic 3 - for Polish-German research projects in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences as well as in selected fields of Physical Sciences and Engineering,
• for the BEETHOVEN Life 1 - for Polish-German research projects in Life Sciences.

Deadline for the call for proposals: do December 17, 2018

Application process:

• Proposals within the BEETHOVEN CLASSIC 3 AND BEETHOVEN LIFE 1 call can be submitted only electronically via electronic submission system ZSUN/OSF,
• The application (full version) printed from the ZSUN / OSF system, and completed with the signature of the Principal Investigator and the head of the unit in which the project will be implemented (Dean of the Faculty or Head of the Unit) should be submitted to the CAWP within the set deadline for approval by the JU authorities.

Internal regulations of the Jagiellonian University: 

In accordance with the Jagiellonian University Rector’s Directive No. 56 on July 11, 2016 on the rules of procedure for the preparation and implementation at the JU of projects financed from external sources, researchers interested in participating in the call should submit to the CAWP: 

• in the case of a project submitted as Joint Proposals, by November  26, 2018 a draft of Joint entity agreement or guidelines for a Joint entity agreement  - to Ms Ewa Prażuch, phone: 12 663 30 10, ewa.prazuch@uj.edu.pl,
• until November 30, 2018 a working version of the application:  generated from the ZSUN/OSF system  and Joint Project Description (sent in a PDF file to the address of the CAWP call supervisors); 
• Until December 10, 2018 the final version of the proposal in one copy, with the required documents, and: 

1. Joint entity agreement – paper version (if required), 
2. generated and printed from the OSF system, the document titled  Confirmation of submitting the proposal under an NCN call by an authorised representative of the entity acting as the project’s host institution, (signed according to the instruction presented in the Annex 1 to this Announcement),
3. generated and printed from the OSF system, the document titled Confirmation of submitting the proposal under an NCN call by the Principal Investigator (signed by the Principal Investigator), 
4. a printed and signed Project Registration Form

Out of concern for the quality of submitted project applications please consult applications and submit documents to the CAWP in earlier dates than mentioned above.

Sending the application by the system is an irreversible operation, making it impossible to make subsequent changes.

Therefore, the electronic application should be sent only after obtaining the signatures on the printed version of the Confirmation of submitting the proposal under an NCN call by an authorised representative of the entity acting as the project’s host institution.
