The European Commission has announced the ERA Chairs call for proposals

Objective of the call: The program aims to provide support to universities and other research institutions to attract and maintain high-quality human resources and to implement the structural changes necessary to achieve excellence in a sustainable manner.
- ERA Chairs positions should include outstanding researchers in a selected field of research.
- They should set up their own team and help the research organization significantly improve their research results and be more effective in obtaining financing.
Supported activities:
- recruitment;
- the salary of Era Chair Holder and his / her research team
- costs related to the implementation of changes: training, meetings, publications, equipment costs (to a small extent, must be justified).
Deadline: 26 July 2018 - 15 November 2018

Within the call, please submit documents in accordance with the Jagiellonian University Rector Directive No. 56 on July 11, 2016 on the rules of procedure for the preparation and implementation at the JU of projects financed from external sources.
