The National Bank of Poland invites you to participate in the 4th edition of the Competition for the NBP President's Award for outstanding book publications in banking, money and finance.

Purpose of the call:

The aim of the call is to select the best scientific book publication in the field of banking, money and finance, in addition to raising the quality of economic publications and promoting the most outstanding ones.

The call is open to publications written in Polish, published or distributed in Poland between 22 January 2019 and 10 September 2021. Publications may have one or more authors. Deadline for submission of works: 31 December 2021.

For whom:

Publication submissions to the call may be made by:

• authors or one of the co-authors with the consent of the other authors, provided that they enclose reviews of their publications, prepared independently by two professors of economics at universities in the Republic of Poland
  Faculty Councils or Scientific Councils of Institutes which are authorized to confer the degree of Doctor of Economics, with the consent of the author or all co-authors, provided that they enclose a photocopy of the above-mentioned body's resolution on submission of the publication for the call.

The selected publication will be awarded the main prize - PLN 80,000 - or a distinction of PLN 30,000. The Organizer may choose not to award either the main prize or the honorable mention. The results of the call will be announced in the second or third quarter of 2022.
