Purpose of the call:

Call for proposals for research projects in which the principal investigator must be a researcher with a PhD degree conferred within 5 to 12 years before the proposal submission year (in the period between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2015, with the possibility of extention in specific cases). 

Way of submitting proposals:

Proposals in all the four calls can be submitted until 4 pm on 15 December 2020 via the OSF electronic system. 

The forms are now available in the ZSUN / OSF system.

Internal regulations of the Jagiellonian University:

In accordance with the Jagiellonian University Rector’s Directive No. 56 on 11 July 2016 on the rules of procedure for the preparation and implementation at the JU of projects financed from external sources, researchers interested in participating in the call should submit to the CAWP:

• by 24 August 2020, a draft agreement or guidelines to the agreement (consortium agreement)
  • - If the applicant is a group of entities and the Jagiellonian University acts as a partner and the Leader has its own model of agreement - then the document should be sent to Ms Magdalena Duda, phone 12 663 28 27, magdalena.duda@uj.edu.pl,
  • - In case the JU plays the role of the Leader in the project, please use the model agreement approved by the JU's Unit of Legal Advisors, which is attached as Annex 1 to this Announcement.
  • NOTE: Attaching a signed agreement in ZSUN/OSF system is a condition for blocking the application and generating appropriate confirmations.
• by 31 August 2020 a working version of the application sent in a PDF file to the address of the CAWP call supervisor;
• by 7 September 2020 a final version of the application sent in a PDF file to the address of the CAWP call supervisor, i.e.:
  • generated from the application system: option "Print PDF" with a file name according to the formula: Surname and first name of the project manager, program name, date of the document (Kowalski_Jan_SONATA_BIS_02_09_2020), together with e-mail acceptance of the manager of the unit in which the project will be implemented (i.e. Dean of the Faculty or Director of the unit, according to the specifics of the given unit). The head of the unit accepts the application in the content of the e-mail by placing the information - "I accept the application in the SONATA BIS 10 call for proposals, ID number of the application: [information in the footnote of the application] of Mr/Mrs. ..."
  • generated from the ZSUN/OSF system, the document titled “Confirmation of submitting the proposal by an authorised representative” in a PDF file,
  • scan of the generated from the ZSUN/OSF system and signed by the Principal Investigator the document titled “Confirmation of submitting the proposal by the Principal Investigator”  with his qualified signature;
  • and Project Registration Form filled electronically via the system called JU Strefa Projektów at the following webpage: https://strefaprojektow.uj.edu.pl/. The JU Project Zone system will be active from 1 August 2020.
  • The instructions for filling in the form are available on the website: https://cawp.uj.edu.pl/strefa-projektow.

Please treat the above mentioned deadlines as final.

Out of concern for the quality of submitted project applications please consult applications and submit documents to the CAWP in earlier dates than mentioned above.

Please note that the sending of a request by the system is an irreversible operation, which makes subsequent changes impossible. Therefore, an electronic application should be sent only after the signatures on the Submission Confirmation in the NCN call are obtained.
